OontZ Angle 3 ULTRA update to Version 2.1.2 firmware adds Siri functionality for iPhones connected over Bluetooth (click here for Siri instructions), and is of benefit when watching videos on your device or watching TV and playing the audio through the OontZ Angle 3 ULTRA:
With one OontZ Angle 3 ULTRA speaker- The Version 2.1.2 update reduces a delay in the audio playback when you are watching a video on your device or watching TV and playing the audio through an OontZ Angle 3 ULTRA speaker. This allows the audio and video to play in sync with each other. The update reduces the delay when connected from your device or TV to the speaker, over Bluetooth or using the 3.5mm audio cable.
- The Version 2.1.2 update will reduce but will not fully remove a delay in the audio playback when you are watching a video on your device or watching TV and playing the audio through two OontZ Angle 3 ULTRA speakers playing together; when the Play Control speaker is connected over Bluetooth to your device or TV. With the Play Control speaker connected to your device or TV over Bluetooth, there will still be delay in the audio and the audio will not play in sync with the video.
- If you do want to use two speakers playing together with Wireless Dual Stereo when you are watching a video on your device or watching TV you will need to: update both speakers to 2.1.2; and, connect the Play Control Speaker to your device or TV using the 3.5mm audio cable that came with the speaker. With the Play Control speaker connected using the 3.5mm audio cable the audio and video can play in sync with each other playing through both speakers with Wireless Dual Stereo.
